Attorney
James P. Stevens, Jr. is a seasoned trial attorney and the owner of Stevens Law Firm, P.C. With more than five decades of legal experience, he has represented individuals, families, and businesses in courts throughout South Carolina.
Mr. Stevens earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law and was admitted to practice in South Carolina in 1973. Throughout his career, he has handled a broad range of civil matters, including personal injury claims, product-liability cases, insurance disputes, and complex litigation.
His extensive courtroom experience provides him with a practical understanding of how cases develop—from the initial investigation and evaluation of evidence through negotiation, trial, and appeal. He approaches each matter with careful preparation, direct communication, and a commitment to understanding the circumstances and objectives of the client.
For more than 50 years, Mr. Stevens has served clients across Horry County, the Grand Strand, and surrounding South Carolina communities.
